Looking out that window in a cloud,

What if we fell?

Came crashing, burning to the ground.

In the senselessness of tragedy,

What if we fell?

Surrounded by all encompassing misery.

What if we fell?

Into sleeps dark embrace,

What if we fell?

And we could not wake.

What if we fell?

Honestly and hopelessly in love,

What if we fell?

And still it was not enough.

What if we fell?

What if we could never get back up?

What if we fell?

What if finally, we were free?
